The Wild Spirit of the Ulus Mountains: Wild Thyme Tea

Feel the pure power of nature in your cup with Wild Thyme (Thymbra spicata), which grows spontaneously in the untouched Ulus Mountains of the Marmara Region. This special thyme is offered to you in its purest form, with no agricultural processing, extending from nature right to your cup.

Why Our Wild Thyme?

  • Unique Origin: It grows completely wild in the Ulus Mountains in the Marmara Region. It is harvested between May and June when its aroma is most intense.
  • From Nature to Cup: The harvested products are brought to our center in Balıkesir and spread on drying racks using natural drying methods. After drying, it is packaged untouched and reaches you directly with no other processes in between.

Purity Guarantee: A Meticulously Controlled Harvest

To ensure we offer you the purest product, the suitability of the area for harvesting is inspected in detail by the state before the harvest season.

These inspections include the following criteria:

  • The region must not have experienced a fire in the last 3 years.
  • There must be no agricultural land near the collection area.
  • It must be a certain distance away from vehicle roads.
  • There must have been no spraying from the air or ground.
  • It must be a protected ecosystem.

Additionally, after the collection permit is granted, organic certification bodies take samples from the region to perform pesticide control, and the harvest begins after this approval.
