The Ancient Treasure of the Taurus Mountains: Olympus Mountain Tea
Discover an ancient tradition with Olympus Mountain Tea (Sideritis Congesta), gathered from the sun-drenched southern slopes of the Taurus Mountains. This rare treasure reaches your cup in its purest form through wild harvesting.
Why Our Mountain Tea?
- Unique Origin: Our mountain tea grows wild on the slopes of the southern Taurus Mountains at an altitude of 300-400 meters. It is harvested between July and August in the central Taurus region.
- Historical Depth: Sideritis has been valued since ancient times. Ancient civilizations like the Egyptians and Romans used this plant not only as an infusion but also in aromatic blends and in the kitchen. In 16th-century France, it was known as a “cure-all.”

Purity Guarantee: A Meticulously Controlled Harvest
Before the collection process begins, official authorities conduct inspections to ensure the region is suitable for harvesting.
These inspections include:
- No agricultural land nearby.
- No pesticide spraying from the air or ground.
- The area must not have experienced a fire in the last three years.
- It must be a protected ecosystem.
Additionally, residue tests are performed by organic certification bodies before the harvest. The harvest begins only after all these checks have been passed.
